VENTIL family

Ventil Test Equipment B.V. (often simply known as VENTIL) is the parent company, headquartered in Rijswijk, The Netherlands, and with subsidiaries in the USA and the Middle East.
VENTIL has grown from trading valves to building world-class test benches. It’s where technology is proven, knowledge deepens, and people excel under extreme pressures.

Valves come in all shapes, sizes and applications – and we’ve seen them all under pressure. After thousands of tests, overhauls and real-life cases, we know the playing field like no other. But these are the three domains where we’ve proven ourselves time and again.

Introduction to Valves

This course is designed as an introduction to the subject of valves and valve technology. It also covers issues relating to materials, performance, safety and the environment.

Pressure relief Valves

This course gives you exactly what you need to know about Pressure Relief Valves: their purpose, how they work, key components, performance, and the difference between ISO 4126 and ASME XIII. Essential for anyone who operates, installs, maintains, or inspects them.

Fugitive emissions

Fugitive emissions not only pose safety and cost risks, but also drive air pollution and climate change, with leaking valves causing up to 60% of uncontrolled emissions. This course gives technicians a solid grasp of: standards, methods, leak rates, tracer gases, and detection.

Investing in the next generation

Ventil Valve Academy was honored by the Royal Dutch Metal union’s OOM award (see picture on the left) for its strong focus on employee and student training, placing us among the top three out of 13,000 companies

OOM stands for Training, Development, and Metalworking in Dutch, and is a joint initiative of the Royal Metaalunie and other Dutch unions like FNV, CNV, and De Unie.
The Ventil Valve Academy also works closely with universities, schools (picture left), and both local and international institutions and leading companies - such as Shell, TNO, SMITZH, A+O Metalektro, Hi-Delta,
OOM and oZone - on initiatives to train the next generation of technicians.
