Ventil Valve Academy was honored by the Royal Dutch Metal union’s OOM award (see picture on the left) for its strong focus on employee and student training, placing us among the top three out of 13,000 companies
(The picture on the right shows a presentation of the Ventil Valve Academy approach during the award ceremony.)
OOM stands for Training, Development, and Metalworking in Dutch, and is a joint initiative of the Royal Metaalunie and other Dutch unions like FNV, CNV, and De Unie.
The Ventil Valve Academy also works closely with universities, schools (picture left), and both local and international institutions and leading companies - such as Shell, TNO, SMITZH, A+O Metalektro, Hi-Delta,
OOM and oZone - on initiatives to train the next generation of technicians.
